British Motor Museum
In 1994 the second generation of the Range Rover (P38a) was launched and aimed firmly at the luxury end of the market although the all-round ability had not been compromised.
Land Rover Special Vehicles modified this unusual Range Rover. The body was cut in half, then a section added to allow another pair of doors and seats to be fitted. The conversion was carried out to demonstrate the Range Rover's adaptability and it was displayed at a Motor Show in the Middle East.
Used for film work, as M's staff car in a James Bond movie, it was also in the BBC TV series 'Harbour Lights' and used as VIP transport to the 'Party in the Park' music festival.
