J12 M40
British Motor Museum
This unique car was built for the Tomb Raider movie. The 2001 movie was filmed at Pinewood Studios in England and stars actress Angelina Jolie in the title role.
The choice of vehicle was easy for director Simon West, "The Defender was the perfect choice to star as Lara's vehicle. The theme of the film is based on action and adventure, so Lara's vehicle had to be rugged enough to match up to all the challenging stunts."
Three cars were made for the film and in metallic grey paint, this Defender features chequer plate, roll cage and roof rack. The car is also fitted with an expedition tool kit, two winches, satellite navigation and an amazing array of spot lamps.
