The second generation of Range Rover Sport was announced at the 2013 New York Auto Show and showcased a sleeker nose and a number of other styling similarities to the Evoque.
Now with the all-aluminium body structure, the Range Rover Sport weighed 420kg less than its predecessor, vastly improving its handling, as well as making it more fuel efficient. In comparison to previous models, the new model produced up to a 14% reduction in its CO 2 emissions.
Despite being much lighter than the older models, the new model also featured a much more spacious design than the last – being 62mm longer and 55mm wider than before – which allowed for the inclusion of a new seven-seat option.
