Explore the best classic vehicles from across the Rootes Group at this fan-favourite event!
Rootes Heritage Day is returning for 2025! This year we're bringing more vehicle variety than ever, with a number of Club National Rallies being held at the event. You won’t want to miss this chance to see these classic Rootes Group vehicles come together and celebrate at the British Motor Museum. Whether you love pre-70s cars like Hillmans, Humbers, Singers or Sunbeams, the later Chrysler, Simca and Talbot products or even the big commercial vehicles like Commers, Karriers, and Kew Dodges, there’ll be a display to ignite your imagination!
Your Rootes Heritage Day ticket doesn’t just get you into the event, you can also visit the Old Ford Rally supported by Peter James Insurance, taking place at the same time. You’ll love the chance to take in an astonishing range of pre-1995 Fords and Ford-engined vehicles, including Anglias, Capris, Cortinas, Escorts, Fiestas, Granadas, Model Ts, Zephyrs and Zodiacs. To learn more about the show, click here.
All of this comes with the added bonus of being able to see over 400 more cars inside the Museum. The Museum is packed with some of the most historically important British vehicles, from the first Land Rover to the first Mini, but if you’re looking for something closer to home, check out our 1969 Hillman Imp Super, with the extra exterior flashes.
On the day, you will also be able to see a large display of stunning hand-built Meccano models, courtesy of The Midlands Meccano Guild. There is also a small indoor trade area with plenty of diecast models, vehicle brochures and photos available for purchase.
Bring your Rootes classic for just £12 and help us make a fantastic show display! This includes an entry pass to display the vehicle and gives admission for the driver and a passenger to the show, Museum and Collections Centre.
The easiest way to book is to simply tap the button below and buy your ticket. If you prefer, you can call our Bookings Team on 01926 895295.
Be sure to book your exhibitor tickets quickly to avoid disappointment. Vehicle entries close on Thursday 17 July.
Gates open to Vehicle Exhibitors on the day at 7.30am. All display vehicles must be in place by 9.30am.
Make the most of our summer show and camp in the Museum grounds – whether that be in your display vehicle, a tent, caravan or motorhome. Camping is available on the evening of Saturday 19 July 2025 only.
Book in advance and save a third with camping for just £26 (max 4 people). Camping tickets can be booked with your show entry tickets. Simply select your camping ticket and show ticket before you checkout. Be quick, we only have a limited number of camping places, and it’s first come, first served.
The campsite will be open from 4pm on the Saturday evening - do not arrive before then, as the campsite marshal will not be available for check-in. Campers will be able to arrive up until 9pm, when the gates will be closed until 7.30am the next morning. All campers must vacate the site by 6pm on the Sunday, after the show finishes.
Campers must comply with the campsite rules, tap here to see them.
Book a space to trade at the show! Trade stand bookings are opening soon - keep checking this page to see when you can secure your place.
